About this Position
Quantity Surveyor (Various Levels)
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for cost estimating, budgeting, preparing tenders, contract administration and cost control of construction projects. You will be required to gather and analyze data relating to project costs, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records of all cost-related information. You will be expected to work closely with the project team and other stakeholders to ensure that the project is delivered within budget and to the required standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend meetings with Clients and Consultants
- Prepare cost estimates, cost plans and set budgets for projects
- Undertake measurement for preparation for cost estimates, cost plans and preparation of BQs
- To come up with potential Value Engineering options to Clients
- Preparation of tender documents
- Contract advice to clients on form of contract utilized
- Coordinate tender process
- Conduct commercial tender review together with clients / project managers
- Assist in award of tenders
- Conduct site visits as needed for monthly valuations and assessments of variations
- Prepare and maintain accurate cost reports for the project team and stakeholders
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders for updating pricing
- Perform other duties as required by the clients or by management
- Manage internal team including coordination with colleagues
- Participate in internal workshops / trainings

What is required from you
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience
- 0-10 years of experience in a similar role or related field is required
- Preference is given to those with Consultant QS related experience
- Software Experience would be preferred : AutoCAD / CostX
